Webmonkey, RIP: 1996 & ndash; 2004. Webmonkey, the pioneering Web development site known as much for its informal tone as its tutorials on how to write code, is shutting after an eight-year run. Fans are disappointed, but not surprised. By Paul Boutin. [Wired News]Dang. Webmonkey taught me just enough to enable me to actually make a living at making web pages. I'll miss him.
There've been some technical problems with the server that hosts this weblog this week and it was especially bad today, so I haven't had blogging access. Sorry for the paucity of entries today. Things might be a bit slim tomorrow, as we don't yet know what's causing the problems. Thanks for checking in, y'all. |
