Dept of New Sounds

A picture named marycarradine.jpgMary Carradine has found the sweet spot somewhere between My Bloody Valentine, Edith Frost and Galaxie 500.

May I suggest listening to " more of us will live than die" first and then moving on to the rest of her fine, fine stuff- highly recommended for fans of trippycool electronica.

Dept. of Sister Ray

Paul Brazier, my partner in thoughtcrime, writes in:

John Cale is Welsh.....

But that has not stopped Maggie Osterberg and myself collaborating on a song.
We have ended up with the 'Macidol Sister Ray' albeit a little short;

'Everyone I Know'

For my part I injected a little bass, guitar n vocals(poor) into Maggies 'Stooge' like preliminary version of 'Everyone I Know' the resulting mahem is raw rock n roll that wouldn't be out of place in '68 and burns quite brightly for its short time. Check it out and more hi-octane guitar work on Maggie_Osterberg'smacidol music site.

I created a second (Jim) re-mix of the song wich provides a little more 'in your face' sound to answer criticism that the early version posted lacked vocal clarity. I hope you enjoy it.

Check out the ultra-cool glasses on Maggies graphic of John Cale!!!

Check out Paul's latest mix of the "Cale Version"- it'll rock yer sox off!
