YO! Checkit!

"stupid rain" (QT stream page)

A Velvets fuzzfest dedicated to my friend Julie, bassist of Austin, TX's very own The Casting Couch, the best damn band in central Texas. The lyrics are inspired by one of her Sundays. She's the coolest.

HA!!! SUCK ON THIS, BIGOTED CHRISTOFASCIST NEIGHBORS!!!

A picture named firework-gold.gifU.S. Judge Rejects Neb. Gay-Marriage Ban. A federal judge Thursday struck down Nebraska's ban on gay marriage, saying the measure interferes not only with the rights of gay couples but also with those of foster parents, adopted children and people in a host of other living arrangements. The... By BY KEVIN O'HANLON, Associated Press Writer. [SFGate: Top News Stories]

Thank God for the judiciary, the last guardians of freedom in America!

U.S. District Judge Joseph Bataillon said the ban "imposes significant burdens on both the expressive and intimate associational rights" of gays "and creates a significant barrier to the plaintiffs' right to petition or to participate in the political process."

Bataillon said the ban beyond "goes far beyond merely defining marriage as between a man and a woman."

The judge said the "broad proscriptions could also interfere with or prevent arrangements between potential adoptive or foster parents and children, related persons living together, and people sharing custody of children as well as gay individuals."

Forty states have laws barring same-sex marriages, but Nebraska's ban is the only one that prevented homosexuals who work for the state or its university system from sharing health insurance and other benefits with their partners.

Dept. of A Window On My World

The new kitchen fountain:

I got Mom this little fountain for Mother's Day, since we've been looking for a big fountain for outdoors for the last few weeks. I told her she could put this little one on her desk and visualize a bigger one until we found one that we liked. Mom was actually kind of tickled. Which was nice.

WARNING! ADULT IMAGES!!!!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

THEY'RE PRETTY GRAPHIC.

SO, LIKE, DON'T COMPLAIN.

OK?

So.......

Domino has suddenly started humping pillows. He was neutered quite early, so this is coming (har) as a surprise. The icky thing about it is that afterwards, he has this huge boner that WON'T GO DOWN!!! He can barely move with it. So, he just lies on the floor, inevitably right in front of us, and twitches while this thing gives off an unholy stink:

So, is that the way it's supposed to look, dog experts? I thought neutering would have, well, fixed any sort of weeenis problems. I mean, it's HUGE! And RED!!!! AND STAYS THAT WAY!!! YOIKS!

Poor Dommie:

He's makin' his "O" face.
